A day like today, many many years ago, Kari was born!

Translating happened quite recently, about a year and a half ago is when I started. And never in my wildest dreams the me from a few years ago would have thought that I’d be translating novels right now.

To be honest, I wanted to do a mega batch release for my birthday. At least 12+ chapters from Moto Sekai Ichi, and Volume 1 of HSV… But sadly I got sick and had to take it easy for some time.

Still, I really tried my best.

I have a couple announcements too.

For those who read High Spec Village, as I was translating the WN chapters you see below, I started to read the LN that I had bought recently and noticed some things that were a bit different. Not many changes were made, but the pacing and narrative was a lot better done in the LN. Therefore, I decided to switch to the LN version of that novel. Also, the story is completed in both the LN and WN.

I will try my best to catch up to the WN translation soon, but I think it will take some time. Still, the story reads better on the LN so look forward to it.

Not many people like High Spec Village, I’ve seen the stats on my blog, and also the critics. So, many people (mainly those who like other novels I translate) might wonder why I still translate it and have put on hiatus others. The answer to that has nothing to do with logic, its just my feeling. I like it, I feel like it’s my baby, and I want to see it through.

Mistaken for the Demon King and Tou no Madoushi are two novels that I also like, and if by the time I finish one of these two I’m currently translating those arent picked up, I will continue them (maybe sooner, depends on the people). After all, I already found out that Mistaken for the Demon King has a LN version and several volumes out!

Now, onto Moto Sekai Ichi.

Numbers don’t lie, this has become the most popular novel I translate, and as such, it will become the main focus.

The volume 1 of the LN just came out in january of this year, so the volume 2 will take some time. This means no pretty drawings until much later for after chapter 30ish of the WN, which is around where the volume 1 ends.

Currently I’ve translated up to chapter 25 (for patreons), and since they also need some love, I’ll be using all of this day to translate patreon chapters, so EVERYONE gets some love 🙂

I’m currently writing this on the 26, and scheduling it to be posted at 4pm CST of the 27.

Ohh, and since there are many new people on the site, how about taking a look at a short story I translated some time ago, only two chapters, but it is pretty good.

When I first saw the description, my first thought was “How are you going to make a good story out of this?” then after a few moments, I said “f*ck it. I’m reading it.”And now that I finished it. Damn.     truly “Moto Sekai” was the novel that got me to this webpage , but it also made me read H spec and the rest. It’s true that H.spec is enjoyable although bland compared to what people want/expected(bunch of loli starved weebs,not me tho’….I swear). but hey….Thank you very much for your work and I hope you keep on doing it because it’s what You like and what You enjoy sharing, so remember to keep your “baby” and not let the numbers pressure you otherwise. Bye bye.

    • So I just realized I forgot to comment on the series update you posted at the beginning.
      I’m glad you’re still working on High Spec Village since I first came to the site for that series and still enjoy it. I just enjoy isekai novels in various forms. I am a bit sad you’re doing a WN to LN transition in the middle of the current arc for the WN though. XD I hope you keep translating and bringing us amazing works!

    as for ‘Moto Sekai’, i was amazed by the beautiful and yet so majestic scene in the manga chapter 3 when second save the third legion or whatever and he said “GET DOWN!!!” i was like ‘whoahhhhh O.O’ and suddenly i had the urges to wants to find the rest of the story and what would happen next. i daydreamed about it again and again it was such a sight to see, IT WAS FREAKING BADASS!! which to i ended up here and cursing at you for making the rest of the chapter patreons only -_- don’t worry though i fully understand that not everything is free.

    High spec has been one of the novels that bring me great joy when I see it has been updated. I read the first chapter of the manga but it didn’t really catch my interest enough to want to read the WN/LN but maybe I’ll give it another chance. Thanks again!

    • I have caught up to this point of the releases. I have to say that this is a little different than what I expected. I have to say that I like this also, but not as much as high spec. I will still enjoy this.
