Nope, it says improved, enhanced, etc. not sure how it works, but I belive it has some improvements aside from just being a camera flash.

Does Yamato have any way to recharge his electric devices? If not, maybe he can ask Gaton to make a hand cranked recharger or a pedal type. Getting the settings right (ampere, voltage, etc) might be hard though. That is if he can find/make magnets in the first place.
