Chapter 2, Episode 6: Parade
Pam pakapaaam!!
At the sound of a very loud trumpet, beautifully colored confetti made of paper danced in the sky.
Fluttering, colorful papers were falling from the sky.
Beautiful, beautiful, so beautiful!!
A person dressed as a clown magically scattered paper flowers into the sky from the top of an elephant.
I was so happy to see that it was exactly the same as the image I had seen in the picture book that I leaned over the balcony, eager to touch the colorful papers.
But I leaned in too far and Farne-sama told me it was dangerous. He held me up.
The view from the restaurant Farne-sama had prepared for us was truly a scene straight out of a fairy tale.
An elephant marched with a ball in its nose.
Women were dancing in colorful and beautiful dresses.
People dressed as clowns paraded around, flipping cards in the air, pulling flowers out of their hands, and performing magic tricks.
Tigers, lions and rabbits followed their march.
"Farne-sama, that is amazing! Farne-sama, that is amazing!”
As I pointed and said, Farne-sama replied with "Yes, that's right. It's amazing," while smiling at me.
It was like a dream, and I was so happy to tell Farne-sama what I thought of the view.
Then Farne-sama would laugh, smile, or make a complicated expression and answer all of my questions properly.
I was happy and joyful.
It would have been fun to have Cyril and Libelle and Dai and Remu and Koron here.
Ah, but Cyril would never walk around with animals like that! I wonder if she would be angry with me.
I think Cyril once told me that there is a gap between how humans and Cyril think.
She said that the values of beasts and humans are different.
That's why Cyril hates people.
Libelle said she didn't care as long as they gave her something tasty, but I wonder.
I wish I could have shown them both the festival.
I wonder if they would have been happy or angry.
I miss the faces of Dai, Remu and Koron, who have already gone back to Kardiana-sama's place. She said that I shouldn't call the three of them unless I really have to.
I hope everyone is doing well.
"What's the matter?”
"Umm. I wanted to show this to Cyril and Libelle and Dai and the others.
I wonder if Dai, Remu, Koron and the others would have enjoyed it if I showed it to them?"
When I felt lonely, I would just hug Farne-sama.
"Well, it may not be possible for Dai and the others……
The parade will still be held, so let's invite Cyril-sama and Libelle-sama to join us."
He says and pats my head.
Yeah, yeah!! I want to go together! I want to go!
It makes me happy to imagine seeing it with Cyril and Libelle.
I hope they both come soon.

"It was fun! Very fun!”
After the parade was over, Farne-sama and I walked outside and I told Farne how I felt.
Farne-sama smiled happily and listened.
We watched the parade from the balcony of a restaurant.
He said we could then go around the stalls for a bit and then go back to the temple.
So, I walked the streets sticking close to Farne-sama and never leaving him.
I used to be afraid of people, but now I'm fine.
Because Kardiana-sama helped me see their auras.
I can see an aura around their body in a faint glow.
People who glow green are not interested in me.
People who glow blue are good people.
Dark blue people are good to me.
The people with yellow light are bad people, although they have nothing to do with me.
I've heard that dark yellow people are people who could potentially harm others, but I've never seen anyone dark yellow or red, although there are a few people who are still faintly yellow.
There are a lot of people of all colors walking around.
A slightly darker blue guy is sneaking along behind us, but I'm sure that's the temple staff.
I guess he is my escort.
He's the one who always follows me when I go to town.
He's a blue guy, so it's easy to recognize him!
But. Farne-sama doesn't have color.
Farne-sama asked not to have any color.
Even though Farne-sama doesn't have a color on him, I can tell that he's blue. So, it's okay.
"What's the matter?”
"Umm. I was just looking at your face, Farne-sama, thinking you're beautiful."
When I said that, Farne-sama blushed a little and patted me.
Like this, we walked down the street with me clinging to his arm tightly.
"Watch out!! You idiot!!!”
A scary-looking yellow-colored man kicked a green-colored woman.
The people around us were watching warily from a distance.
"S, sorry!!”
I think the woman is about the same age as me, maybe a little older?
She's a beautiful girl with brown hair. She is surrounded by a green aura.
"You're not paying attention, are you?! You've damaged my merchandise!!”
The man shouted and attempted to hit the woman again.
Then. All of a sudden, a painful memory of being struck by my aunt flashed back into my mind.
My aunt raised her stick at me.
It always hurt so much to be hit with it.
Scary, scary, so scary.
It hurt, it hurt, it hurt a lot.
I don't want to be hurt anymore.
The man and my aunt overlapped.
Stop, stop, stop, stop!!!!!!
I don't want to be hurt!!!!
Don't hit me!!!!!!
The moment I thought that.
Boom!!!
The man was blown away by my attack.
