Chapter 1, Episode 35 – Sentimental
Farne-sama, Farne-sama. Where are we going tomorrow?
I asked Farne-sama as he began to prepare for a trip.
Many days have passed since then.
Both Cyril and Farne-sama have stopped trying to get me to see people since that day.
I wondered and asked him about it, but he said we should wait until I was a little more accustomed to this life.
I wish I could have done my best, but I was also a little happy.
If I could, I would like to live with only Farne-sama, Cyril, Libelle, and the spirits of the sacred tree.
Of course, I'll do my best if Farne-sama tells me to!
Every day since then, Farne-sama and I have been studying letters and words.
We also used picture books and drawing.
I started practicing my vocabulary, and I even learned how to speak better.
I was also able to get new cute clothes and often went out to play in the forest with Farne-sama, the spirits of the sacred tree, and Libelle.
I could sleep in a soft bed every day.
I could eat a lot of food.
But. Unlike before, now that I'm feeling better, I've been told to develop a regular lifestyle and wake up at a certain time every day and go to bed at a certain time every day.
I even started eating my meals while watching the clock.
Farne-sama said it was the first step to adulthood.
I am happy to be an adult, though. Recently, I was told, "Let's have you take a bath by yourself now, okay? " and the bath is lonely because I'm all alone.
Today I put on my cutest outfit and hat for the first time in a long time and was told that tomorrow we're going somewhere in a horse-drawn carriage.
Cyril and Libelle and the spirits of the tree seem to also be with us.
"We will return once to my previous home.
Now that you are getting older, Riese, I have a lot of things I want to buy for you."
When Farne-sama said that, Libelle also spoke.
『This is my first time out of the forest!! Fun!! Fun!!! 』
She was so excited. Libelle is smaller. About the size of a stuffed toy. The trees of the holy tree too.
They asked the Holy Tree of Eldia to make them smaller.
『Listen. I'll prepare plenty of food for you, so don't ever eat humans, okay!? 』
『It's alright!! Sweets are better!! Tastier than humans!!! 』
And then Libelle smiled happily as she ate a cookie.
She is very happy that she can eat more than before, even though it's the same amount of food because she is smaller now.
She's happily holding a jar of cookies and eating them.
"Can we go back to our old house? Are we done moving in? "
I asked Farne-sama.
"No, we're just out shopping.
We will be back here again.
We need to get you a new picture book and some new clothes for me.
Sorry for the short notice, but can you hang in there? "
I nodded yes as Farne-sama took my hand and asked me.
I will go wherever Farne-sama is.
I hate it more when people leave me behind.
I'm glad though. That house is still my favorite.
It's where I first met Farne-sama.
The garden is beautiful and full of flowers.
Fluffy beds and pretty furniture.
The house is filled with memories of Farne-sama.
Though traveling by carriage reminds me of bad things.
Cyril, Libelle, and the spirits of the Holy Tree are all here, so I'm fine.
Dai, Remu, and Koron are also smaller and happy to be inside the house.
They explore the house from time to time.
I am so happy that we can all live in that house.
Farne-sama is there.
Cyril is there too.
Libelle is also there.
Dai, Remu and Koron are there.
I was so happy that I hugged Farne-sama and he patted me on the back.
I love, love, love it. I love them all.
May we all live happily together forever.

……Hm?
It was still dimly lit outside.
I woke up.
In this temple, even at night, the light of the moon shines through and you can faintly see the inside of the room.
Usually, when I wake up in the middle of the night, Farne-sama is sleeping next to me, and I feel safe sleeping next to Farne-sama again.
Today Farne-sama was not next to me.
I hurriedly looked around the room and found Cyril, Libelle, and the spirits of the tree all sleeping peacefully on Cyril's bed.
Thank goodness I wasn't alone.
But where did Farne-sama go?
I walked stealthily so as not to wake Cyril and the others, and looked out the window to see Farne-sama looking up at the moon in the courtyard.
Farne-sama is really like an angel.
His blue hair sparkled in the moonlight.
Beautiful green eyes.
I still believe that Farne-sama is an angel.
I toddled over to Farne-sama, and he turned around.
"Oh, I am sorry. Did I wake you up? "
No. No. I was just waking up too.
Can I stay next to you?
"Yes. But just a little bit, okay?
We have to be up early tomorrow."
Mm-hmm. Farne-sama and the carriage trip. That's very nice.
Next time, Cyril, Libelle, and the spirits will be there, so I won't be afraid.
I'm feeling better now, too, so I can ride in the carriage without sleeping on the futon.
"Right.
You have a lot more stamina than you had back then".
He said and patted me. I smiled happily.
I have been through a lot, but I am happy because I am with Farne-sama.
I already have Cyril and Libelle, so there should be no danger to Farne-sama and no one to do anything painful to me.
I will be with Farne-sama from now on and forever and ever.
There were a lot of unpleasant things that happened.
Because I am happy now.
Surely that misery was for the sake of this happiness.
I put up with a lot of things I didn't like so I could meet Farne-sama.
Because that's what Mama said.
She said that if I persevere in the things I don't like, something good will surely come out of it.
Suddenly Farne-sama's hand that was caressing me stopped.
I wonder what's wrong? When I looked up, Farne-sama turned his face away from me.
What do I do? What do I do?
Did I do something to make you dislike me?
Are you mad? Are you mad?
I hurriedly looked at Farne-sama's face and saw that he seemed to be crying.
What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong?
Does it hurt anywhere? I need to wake up Cyril and have him healed!!
When I tried to run in a hurry...
"It's all right. Riese. I am sorry.
I just got sentimental all of a sudden when I realized I had to leave here."
Sentimental?
"It's just that I'm sad to be leaving this place."
Farne-sama is also surprisingly lonely.
It's okay, we'll be back!
I patted him with a "there, there", and Farne-sama smiled at me and said, "Yes, you're right.
His smile was truly angelic, so I hugged Farne-sama.
I love you, I love you.
"Me too."
Farne-sama's hands felt good as he stroked me while saying.
I once again fell asleep. Good night Farne-sama.
