When I started doing translations, I did it for fun. But some time later, it became a little hard to continue because I got unemployed and needed to find a job to pay the bills and stuff.
At that time, opening a patreon helped me keep doing translations and ever since, it has helped me, even if a little, in remaining as a translator.
I dont sell myself as the best, I know I’m not even close to that. But I do try to deliver the best translation possible for my skills. That also means I’m not as fast as other translators.
Some people have complained about Patreon having too many chapters, but that is my way of rewarding the people who supports me, allowing me to keep on translating.
I really, really (you have no idea how much) appreciate all the people who supports me on patreon. That’s the main reason why I decided that for every two chapters/parts I translate, I’ll post both on patreon and 1 on the blog.
I’m sorry if this angers my viewers, but I do try to keep a good pace so that the blog gets updated constantly, and I also do a batch releases each month, so as to not keep patreon that much far ahead.
If you are my patreon, you have my heart. Your support means the world to me. And if you are just my blog reader, I love you too, it’s because of your comments that I find joy in sharing these stories.

wow i’m surprised there’s someone who protested for patreon having many chapter. just ignore them kari-san,
if they don’t appreciate you work you should know there are a lot more people that appreciate them and if they really want to read ahead without donating they can use MTL, for me, i thought it’s fair for those who donate to read a more chapters than we the leecher
your translation is good and you can keep on improving, and i enjoy your translation
so long story short, just do what you want! ^_^

I want to become a patreon too someday, when i got a job and this still continue, for sure im gonna be one! And even if im not im totally fine with it. Do not lose heart, theres dozen of people who understood you more than you think, its not like it’s best to speak of that but its good to make sure and clarify. Cheersss!! 🙂

I’m sadly not a patreon cause of money myself but I really enjoy your work one of my favorites has been taken down (Taming Master) and this has been a good novel to fill that hole

Not being a patreon, I totally understandable that the patreons get more chapters than the free readers. If this is seen as a business, then keeping your customers happy is only a natural expectation. You do you! You do what you feel is best!
I enjoy your translations, and don’t have complaints about the translating time. But when I feel like I need to get my Mountain Dog fix, I just help sponsor a chapter which is easier for me when I have some extra funds. I am will to come here prior to purchasing some thing on amazon ( I haven’t in a while so I don’t know if that option is still available) because I value your translating skills. Just keep doing what you are doing!

Although I’m not a patreon, I really appreciate your work my friend. I really want to support you but as a foreign student, I can do nothing. So keep translating, a chapter a day is more than enough for me. For those who complaining, translate it yourselves, it is free here so appreciate thats.
